‘Trace of the unseen’ by Kayleigh Jayne Harris

Kayleigh says about her work: ‘I have taken inspiration from the way Qianqian Ye spoke of ‘moments that normally remain unspoken’—or in this case, of things that are often unseen.

This work highlights the dialogue between line and surface and speaks of how drawing can visualise the often unseen through the traced mark..My current practice is concerned with the identity of line within drawing practices, and most recently with the relationship between line surface and process—works 'with' paper.’ Kayleigh is based in Totnes, United Kingdom.
